Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Philadelphia University and has a commercial design background and foundation. She began her career as a hospitality interior designer with an award winning Los Angeles based firm, Indidesign, creating notable hotel properties for brands like Hilton and Grand Hyatt. After that she worked on commercial high-rises to design and permit office improvements throughout Orange County. She has developed her design aesthetic, eye for curated detail and knowledge of constructability beyond the relevant work force with experience in both national and international projects & clientele.

Born and raised in a construction family with a strong foundation for trade work, he pursued a construction management degree with a focus in architecture at Philadelphia U. His career began in LA with Brookfield Properties, a high-end developer constructing one of the city’s leading master plan communities. He later went on to work as a construction project manager for Winkle Custom Homes overseeing some of the most highly sought after homes on the southern California coastline. His detail oriented eye for construction quality and extensive building knowledge has helped execute numerous high budget developments.

Studio Collab is an interior design and construction management firm established in Joshua Tree, California by couple-duo Emily Manera and Vince Murphy. With 12 years in the industry, our team’s extensive expertise has helped countless clients create unique and personal spaces that they’ll enjoy for years to come. From high end vacation rental homes to build-outs of commercial space to residential renovations and custom home designs, our team has been a pivotal part of what makes these spaces successful and our clients’ experience pleasant. Our seamless design-build process is what sets us apart in the industry and allows us to have streamlined communication, planning and execution.
After five years in the high desert of California, our team is setting roots down in our hometown area of Philadelphia and are taking on East Coast projects. We plan to have projects in both areas, but are open to clients and challenges both near and far!
